Join our Basic Wilderness First Aid and Survival workshop taught by Natalie Bonthius, MD from Survival Med!

This workshop will have a special focus on the animals, insects, diseases, and environmental dangers specific to Manitoba. Participants can attend the live session (over Zoom) or watch the recording! The course also includes an optional 50+ hours of wilderness medicine podcasts and a textbook, as well as a certification exam (good for 3 years).

Note: you can watch the recording of the event post-workshop even if you can’t attend live, so you can still register even if the live event date and time won't work for you. All who register receive a follow up email that includes the recording after it's been processed post-event (allow 24-72 hours after the event and be sure you check your spam).

Time & location:
The workshop begins promptly at 7:00 PM CST so please be logged in beforehand and ready to start by this time.

Participants will need a free Zoom account to participate. Please check your email close to the event date for the Zoom link for attending the class.

NOTE: Upon registration, you will receive the course text and other materials via your confirmation email - we recommend reviewing and completing the materials ahead of the workshop. This allows the live workshop time to be dedicated to Manitoba-specific content, as well as more of the hands-on skills.

Access to the recording after the class will be provided with details afterwards.

Further details will be provided to registered participants. Participants are responsible for having a valid e-mail address, and for checking e-mail prior to an event.

Registering for this event secures you a spot and fees are non-refundable and no credits will be issued, unless under exceptional circumstances. If you are no longer able to attend, please see our Cancellation Policy.
