Join Backcountry Women for an informal yet structured and unique learning opportunity. Set topics will be discussed with opportunities to ask questions. There will be time to chat freely with other women who have common interests and maybe you will find a new adventure buddy.

August topic: Hiking with Dogs

Your four-legged family member is one of the best hiking buddies you could ask for - but if you plan to take your dog hiking, it’s important to be prepared, monitor your dog’s health and wellbeing, and consider the other people and animals you share the trail with. Join us for an informal chat about how to gauge your dog's trail readiness, important gear considerations, trail etiquette and safety.

Please leave dogs at home.
