Regarding Covid-19: Due to the numbers placed on gathering restrictions, we need your cooperation in only signing up for events that you can truly commit to attending. 

Masks are mandatory when gathering at the beginning and end of our events. Additionally, we strongly recommend masks be worn during the activity (but are not required as long as physical distance is being maintained) - if group members are closer than 6 feet apart they MUST wear a mask covering their mouth and nose. Please review our full Covid-19 policy and safety practices here.

DEADLINE TO REGISTER: BY MIDNIGHT, TWO DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT (Feb 23) 

At this starting point, the Seine is a winding river with a golf course and Windsor Park Nordic Centre on one side and homes on the other. You will be protected from the wind on this beautiful, peaceful trail. It has become one of my favourite city walks.

Arrival Time: by 6:15 PM. We will begin the hike no later than 6:30 PM. The time arranged allows for you to have time to attend to personal needs such as organizing your gear and for the leaders to share information with the group. 

Location: Morier Park  Exact meeting location will be provided to registered attendees.

Overall Difficulty Rating: due to the factors mentioned below, this activity is rated a 1/5.

This rating is subject to change based on prevailing conditions at the time of the activity, including but not limited to weather.

Duration/Distance: Approximately 2 hours
Experience: Be comfortable walking on a frozen ice surface. You should have the ability to hike with the group (while physically distancing) at a slow to moderate pace for the duration of the activity and come to the activity with appropriate outerwear and layers. 
Terrain: Trail is suitable for all levels. 
Pace: This activity will be at a slow to moderate pace.
