Join us for a Backcountry Women "Adventure Women" hike and/or snowshoe at Amisk Trail!

The Amisk Trail is an approximate 4 km loop that is scenic and features various viewpoints overlooking the landscape. There are multiple ups and downs as the trail passes through forested sections and on top of the rocky terrain. There are numerous viewpoints where we can stop for a snack/lunch break. Snowshoes are optional on this trail (depending on the conditions and amount of snow at the time), and the path is snow packed.

Event Leaders: Brittany Thiessen and Jessica Burtnick with Reggie the Siberian husky. Click for more information!

Arrival Time: Arrive by 9:00 AM. We will begin the hike/snowshoe no later than 9:30 AM. The time arranged allows for you to attend to personal needs such as organizing your gear and for leaders to share information with the group.

Location: Amisk Trail in Whiteshell Provincial Park. We will meet in the parking area at the trailhead.

Backcountry Women acknowledges that this hike will take place on Treaty 3 Territory.
