Regarding Covid-19: Due to the numbers placed on gathering restrictions, we need your cooperation in only signing up for events that you can truly commit to attending. 

Masks are mandatory when gathering at the beginning and end of our events. Additionally, we strongly recommend masks be worn during the activity (but are not required as long as physical distance is being maintained) - if group members are closer than 6 feet apart they MUST wear a mask covering their mouth and nose. Please review our full Covid-19 policy and safety practices here.

Join Backcountry Women for an informal yet structured and unique learning opportunity. These gatherings are different from workshops even though set topics are discussed. These chats are a round-table discussion and an opportunity to share and learn from others.

The Fun Scale.  Join us for a fun chat about fun!  We all like fun, but is fun always the same?  We will examine REI's "The Fun Scale" and delve into the categories of fun, share our fun stories, discuss what the options are when things aren't fun anymore, and talk about why fun is necessary in our lives. Location: Little Mountain Park.  Exact location and details will be sent out in a reminder email. Backcountry Women acknowledges that this event will take place on Treaty 1 Territory

Time: Please arrive at 6:45pm. We will begin promptly at 7:00pm

Bring: lawn/camp chair, water bottle/drink, sunscreen, bug spray
