Pine Point Rapids is a 9 km trail offering beautiful scenery and views through the Canadian Shield.

This trail is located near Nutimik Lake in the northern area of the Whiteshell. We will hike approximately 2.7 km along the scenic, self-guiding route, to the Pine Point Rapids where there is a small hut and picnic tables to stop for a snack. From there, we will have the option to continue along the 2.8 km loop which leads to Acorn Falls and Viburnum Falls and back to the Pine Point Rapids, and continue back along the same route to the trailhead.

We will hike this trail rain or shine, unless conditions deem it unsafe.

Event leader: Ashley Moore. Click for more information

Arrival Time: Arrive by 10:00 AM. We will begin the hike no later than 10:30 AM. The time arranged allows for you to have time to attend to personal needs such as organizing your gear and for the leaders to share information with the group.

LocationWe will meet in the parking lot at the trailhead of Pine Point Trail. Drivers must have a valid Manitoba Parks pass. They must be purchased online
