Regarding COVID-19: Due to the numbers placed on gathering restrictions, we need your cooperation in only signing up for events that you can truly commit to attending.

Masks are mandatory when gathering at the beginning and end of our events. Additionally, we recommend masks be worn during the activity (but are not required as long as physical distance is being maintained) - if group members are closer than 6 feet apart they MUST wear a mask covering their mouth and nose. Please review our full Covid-19 policy and safety practices here.

DEADLINE TO REGISTER: BY MIDNIGHT, TWO DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT (AUG 30)

PLEASE READ THE REQUIREMENTS AND ALL DETAILS BELOW PRIOR TO REGISTRATION

If you are newer to hiking and ready to try out a Backcountry Women "Adventure Women" hike, please join us for a beginner-friendly hike at Blueberry Rock, including a short section of the Trans Canada Trail! We want to leave the trail a little better than we find it, so please plan to bring a garbage bag and gloves as we will pick up any trash we find along the way.

Event Leaders: Jessica Burtnick and Reggie the siberian husky - Click for more info.

There will be a dog accompanying this hike. If you don’t have a dog or puppy friend of your own, this is a great opportunity to experience the joy and benefits of an animal companion! If you are uncomfortable around or allergic to dogs, we highly recommend you check out one of our other Happy Trails Hikes as this hike may not be the right fit for you.

Arrival Time: Arrive by 6:45 PM. We will begin the hike no later than 7 PM. The time arranged allows for you to attend to personal needs such as organizing your gear and for leaders to share information with the group.

Location: Blueberry Rock trailhead, Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba.

Backcountry Women acknowledges that this hike will take place on Treaty 1 Territory.

Overall Difficulty Rating: due to the factors mentioned below, this activity is rated a 2/5.
