Join us for a fun day hike with a social focus! This is a great opportunity to engage with other Backcountry Women community members plus enjoy a cozy fire. The flat and well-marked Wild Grape and Elm trail takes us along the Assiniboine River and then through the forest and is a prime spot to view beavers, muskrats, and other wildlife. After the hike, we will enjoy a fire where we may have the opportunity to learn some new fire building skills depending on fire pit availability.

Event Leaders: Ashley Moore and Kate Rudge. Click for more information

Arrival Time: by 2:15 PM. We will begin the hike no later than 2:30 PM. The time arranged allows for you to have time to attend to personal needs such as organizing your gear and for the leader to share information with the group.

Location: Beaudry Provincial Park. valid Manitoba Parks pass is required and can be purchased online.

In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we live, work, and play on the ancestral lands of the Ininiw, Anishinaabe, and Dakota Nations, and the homeland of the Metis Nation.  Our organization, Backcountry Women, is based on Treaty No. 1 Territory, and we appreciate that this event takes place on Treaty No 1.
