Join us for a Backcountry Women Adventure Women hike to explore Grand Beach Provincial Park on the Boulder Hill Trail.


Event Leader: Christina Hiebert Click for more informationIf you are ready to take your experience up a notch from sticking to trails around Winnipeg, this is your opportunity to join a leader who loves to empower women to safely step out of their comfort zones and try new experiences

Arrival Time: Arrive by 9:30 AM. We will begin the hike no later than 10:00 AM. The time arranged allows for you to attend to personal needs such as organizing your gear and for leaders to share information with the group. 


Location: Boulder Hill Trail Exact meeting location will be shared with registered participants. valid Manitoba Parks pass is required and can be purchased online.

Overall Difficulty Rating: due to the factors mentioned below, this activity is rated a 3/5This rating is subject to change based on prevailing conditions at the time of the activity, including but not limited to weather.

Duration/Distance: 8 - 9 KM including Boulder Hill (6.5 KM) plus adjoining trails for additional exploration.
Experience: This event is open to participants with an average level of fitness who have some hiking experience. You must have the ability to walk with the group at a moderate pace for the duration of the activity and come to the activity with appropriate footwear, gear and outerwear.

Terrain: Grass, dirt (mud if wet), sand, wide trail with a couple of steep areas, and some exposed roots and rocks.

Pace: Slow to moderate with a break for a lunch and additional stops for water as needed.
