DEADLINE TO REGISTER: BY MIDNIGHT, TWO DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT (October 13)
Join us for a Backcountry Women Adventure Women hike on the gorgeous Pembina Valley Trails, with fall colours! Follow along the elevated Pembina Rim trail with multiple beautiful lookout points and a great view of the Pembina River. Not short of photo moments and has additional loops and viewpoints if wanted.

Arrival Time: Arrive by 9:00 AM. We will begin the hike no later than 9:30 AM. The time arranged allows for you to attend to personal needs such as organizing your gear and for leaders to share information with the group.
Location: Pembina Valley Provincial Park. Exact meeting location will be shared with registered participants. A valid Manitoba Parks pass is required and can be purchased online.

Overall Difficulty Rating: due to the factors mentioned below, this activity is rated a 3/5. This rating is subject to change based on prevailing conditions at the time of the activity, including but not limited to weather.

Duration/Distance: 8.0 KM (may vary by 1-2km as there are additional loops to hike if desired)
Experience: This event is open to participants with an average level of fitness who have some hiking experience. You must have the ability to walk with the group at a moderate pace for the duration of the activity and come to the activity with appropriate footwear, gear and outerwear.
Terrain: Trail is well maintained, mostly dirt and grass terrain with some elevation. Be prepared for walking up and down sloped hills. Most of the trail is forested with some open field areas. Be prepared for the potential of sun exposure.
Pace: Moderate pace, will take one lunch break. Water breaks as needed.
