Join us to enjoy a fun evening of skiing in Birds Hill Provincial Park on Esker Trail that has some fun but gentle ups and downs. If you wish to carpool to this event, please see details under the carpools section below.

Arrival Time: 7:00 PM. We will begin skiing by 7:15 PM at the latest. The time arranged allows for you to have time to attend to personal needs such as organizing your gear and for the leaders to share information with the group.

Location: We will meet at Birds Hill Stable Parking Lot in Birds Hill Provincial Park. We will meet in the Restaurant building by the washrooms.

Overall Difficulty Rating: due to the factors mentioned below, this activity is rated a 2/5. This rating is subject to change based on prevailing conditions at the time of the activity, including but not limited to weather.

Duration/Distance: 6km
Experience: This event is open to participants with an average level of fitness and beginner levels, but prior Cross-Country Ski experience is a must. 

You must have the ability to ski with the group at a moderate pace for the duration of the activity and come to the activity with appropriate footwear, gear and outerwear. Skiers need to bring their own equipment or bring rented equipment (Ski rentals can be found at MEC, Woodcock Cycle).

Terrain: Skiing in Birds Hill Provincial Park is on Groomed trails.  This particular trail has some fun but gentle ups and downs. 
Pace: Easy Paced Ski with stops for water as needed.
