Join us for a Backcountry Women Adventure Women hike on Hanson's Creek via Centennial Trail.
This is a very scenic out-and-back trail in the Whiteshell Provincial Park. Plenty of varying terrain including forests and rocky inclines. There is a beaver dam crossing and a beautiful red bridge over the creek at the end where we can have a nice picnic lunch.

Arrival Time: Arrive by 9:30AM. We will begin the hike no later than 10:00AM. The time arranged allows for you to attend to personal needs such as organizing your gear and for leaders to share information with the group.
Location: Hanson's Creek via Centennial Trail. Exact meeting location will be shared with registered participants. A valid Manitoba Parks pass is required and can be purchased online.

Duration/Distance: 7.1KM
Experience: This event is open to participants with an average level of fitness who have some hiking experience. You must have the ability to walk with the group at a moderate pace for the duration of the activity and come to the activity with appropriate footwear, gear and outerwear.
Terrain: Fair bit of up and down, with a few steeper sections over the Canadian shield that can be slippery when wet. Beaver dam crossing area may be muddy.
Pace: Moderate with a break for a lunch at the halfway point and additional stops for water as needed.
Please keep dogs at home.
